Bio: Chrissie is a Librarian at Northeast State community College's Basler Library. A December 2002 graduate of the School of Information Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Chrissie was one of the first graduates to have completed the degree mostly online. Her professional endeavors include Past-President of Boone Tree (2002-2004). Her involvement with the Tennessee Library Association has included Chairing the Public Relations Committee, Chairing/Co-Chairing the Scholarship Committee (through which she spear-headed the efforts to begin a scholarship program in Tennessee -- which evolved into the Gleaves Scholarship), working as Editor on the TLA Newsletter, and currently serving as the Tennessee Chapter Councilor to the American Library Association (ALA). Her ALA activities include periodic memberships in YALSA (including membership on the YALSA Professional Development Committee), PLA, ASCLA, RUSA, SORT, and SSIRT, as well as annual memberships in ALSC and NMRT (including work on NMRT's Footnotes newsletter, Chairing/Co-Chairing several committees -- Olofson Scholarship, Booth, and Midwinter Social -- and serving as Secretary of NMRT). She has written numerous articles for online publications (including Rachel Singer Godron's InfoCareer Trends and Priscilla Shontz's LIScareer.com), as well as contributing a chapter to editor Shontz's Librarian's Career Guidebook. She also assisted Sharyn McCrumb with research for McCrumb's novel St. Dale.
Aside from professional endeavors, Chrissie enjoys spending time with her husband Russ, who is working towards becoming an RN through Walters State Community College. The two have eight "inside children" and somewhere between 6-10 "outside children" -- all are cats. Their "inside" kids are Mel and Reid (almost 10 years old), Xander and Willow (almost 4 years old), Ella, (age 5 1/2), Lance and Mariel (2 1/2 years old), and Sophie Britannia (almost 2 years old). Chrissie is also a Pampered Chef Consultant, working towards Directorship, which she hopes to accomplish by Summer 2007; Russ is her unsung partner in their Pampered Chef business

Bio: Theresa is the Director of the Sullivan County Public Library in Blountville, Tennessee. She graduated from the Public Library Management Institute in 2005 and is considered a Certified Public Library Manager. Her Bachelors degree is in Business Administration from Milligan College. She has a Masters in Public Administration from East Tennessee State University. Before becoming director at Sullivan County, she was assistant director for four years. She serves as church secretary for Freedom Fellowship.
Theresa has been married for over 21 years to her husband, Frank. She has one son, Marcus Vermillion (married to Brooke), and one grandson, Jared. She served as a volunteer for the Humane Society where she collected several dogs: Pekinese (Brando), Bloodhound (Hushpuppy), Black Labrador (Snicker), and a deaf Great Dane (Harley). She has taught her deaf dog obedience commands by using sign language. She has two racking horses (Chocolate and Little Man) and lives on ten acres in Fall Branch. She loves exercise and goes to the YMCA in Kingsport on a daily basis.

Bio: Amy is the Assistant Director of the Sullivan County Public Library in Blountville, TN. She has an Associate’s Degree from Cottey College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics from Iowa State University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from ETSU. She will be beginning her MLS at UT in the fall. Before becoming Assistant Director, Amy was the branch manager at the Bloomingdale Branch Library.
Amy has been married for 9 years to her husband, Beau. Her four-legged daughter Gracie (a black and tan miniature dachshund) is 9 years old. Amy enjoys needlework, scrapbooking, reading, movies, and mixed martial arts, especially the UFC.

Bio: Dorothy Linton is Library Manager at the Washington County Jonesborough Library. She also wears several other hats, including Teen and Adult Services Librarian, Acquisitions Librarian, and Reference Librarian.
Dorothy is a 2003 graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville School of Information Science, Distance Education. She came from Suffolk, VA two years ago, where she worked with the Chesapeake Public Library System for 13 years. She has many family ties to this area. Dorothy has been married to her wonderful husband, Bill, for over 18 years.

Bio: A 2001 graduate of the LIS program at UNC-G. Chris works at the Wayne G. Basler Library at Northeast State Community College in Blountville, TN. He lives in Jonesborough, TN with his beautiful wife Robin and their son Jonah, born Sept. 6th 2007.
