Who we are . . .
The Boone Tree Library Association began in 1946 and continues to provide a place of professional networking, information, and growth for Librarians and Library staff in the greater Tri-Cities area of Tennessee/Virginia. We are an affiliate of the Tennessee Library Association.
What we do . . .
The objectives of our association are:
- To foster the development of better library service to all types of libraries.
- To promote professional growth.
- To provide a means of communication among library staff and libraries.
- To provide occasional social opportunities for library staff to become better acquainted.
Our members belong to many libraries across the region, including academic libraries, public libraries, school libraries, and special libraries.
