DESCRIPTION:<p>To get to Shelter #27\, continue on Bays Mountain Park Road 
 towards Bays Mountain Park. Head right at the split towards the Eastman Re
 creation Area. Once inside the Eastman’s recreation center continue on the
  road  (you will pass the Eastman Lodge on your left). Continue straight t
 hrough the open gate. Shortly after the gate you will drive across a bridg
 e that goes over a stream and begin to see signs to the different shelters
 . Follow the signs to shelter #27.  About the time you begin seeing signs\
 , you will also see a couple of shelters (restrooms and ice machine on you
 r left).  The picnic is at the end of the circle around the far end of the
  play ground.</p>
